Welcome to the Computer Graphics and Vision Lab at Portland State University. Our lab works on a wide range of projects in computer graphics, vision, and multimedia. Our current focuses are on computational stereoscopic photography and cinematography, computational aesthetics, and multimedia visualization.

  • Fan successfully defended her Ph.D. thesis. She is now a research scientist at Intel Labs.

  • Long's paper on composition-preserving deep photo aesthetics analysis is accepted by IEEE CVPR 2016. This is our first submission on deep learning.

  • Long and Cuong will intern at Adobe Research at San Jose and Adobe Research at San Francisco this coming summer
  • Cuong's papers on gaze-based note taking and surveillance video visualization are accepted by ACM CHI 2016 and Information Visualization, respectively
